I've been using Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX on my Windows 2000 workstation for a month or so. I REALLY like having access to a Korn shell when I'm stuck in Windows. Hitting Esc-K to get to my command history is almost as natural to me as breathing. And not having to re-type "dir" after mistakenly typing "ls" saves me tens of seconds each day!! And as far as I know, this software doesn't make my Windows machine any more (or less) insecure than it already was. Wait-- I just re-read your message. Do you want to install this on Solaris? Because according to Microsoft's site (and the CD sleeve I have here), this software only runs on Windows. ~Jeff --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
