I guess you missed it but I had not updated the FAQ on the web site yet. 
Sorry.  Here is the corrected FAQ entry.

Where is the PLUG IRC channel? (What server, what #channel)?

One of our members maintains an IRC channel on Freenode. Point your IRC
client at:

Server: irc.freenode.net
Port: 6667
Channel: #plugaz

There are several who are there, seemingly, 24/7. When you want
interactive help, that is the place to go.
