After running memtest86 I also suspect I have bad memory. What happens with me is sometimes My screen sticks I sounds like my computer is still working and perhaps it would fix it (I suspect the 2.6 kernel would be better at this) but I can never wait long enough. Much more common is that my X session gets restarted. and I just have to login again. (just about everything I use is backed up / able to recover so its mostly just a pita). -- Carl Parrish(cparrish@carlparrish.com) http://www.carlparrish.com -- Registered Linux User #295761 http://counter.li.org --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
