What is the best way to clear cache on a Linux system? I frequently use 'slocate' to find files on my system and doing that often includes a whole bunch of listings in the following directory (folder) that muddies up my search. /home/joe/.kde/share/apps/kio_http/cache/ Is there any downside to periodically deleting all these files? --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
