This question come up once in a while. I guess it is my turn to bring it up. I have checked the list archives but I thought to shake the tree and see if something new falls out. I am looking around for a money management program to run on Linux, of course. Finding one is not a problem. Finding good reviews of them is. So I come to PLUG. I used GNUCash for a while and it was good but I thought it a little over the top for what I wanted to do (personal budget, one checkbook at present, a couple of other accounts in the near future). I lost my discipline using it and am to far behind to catch up. I could restart with it but thought I'd look around a bit first. I use KDE so I'll be looking at Kmymoney. I know about Kapital but it is not FS/OSS and I want to consider Free stuff first. There are a number of Java based ones and web based ones but I have not tried them. What do you all use to keep track of your personal finances? What have you tried that is good or bad? Or is there a web page somewhere with good reviews of this type of application? --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
