Hi, all- Today, from Noon until 4:00 PM, the Free (for All) Market will be taking place at Birchett Park in Tempe (at the corner of Mill and Apache.) This is an effort to show the public (and our presidential contenders) what a real "free market" is like, and the core concept is that everybody brings things, skills, ideas, etc that they wish to share or give away. No selling, barter or monetary exchange allowed. Just a celebration of generosity, giving and sharing where everyone leaves richer than they came and creativity blossoms. OK, you may or may not dig the politics, but the fact remains that the Free (for all) Market is a pretty good metaphor for the FSM, and this is a very good opportunity to turn people on to Linux, Free Software and the Open Source movement. I will be down there passing out Knoppix discs and preaching the gospel of Linux. I welcome you all to come down too, with or without CDs, to participate in the fun. -- Lee Einer Dos Manos Jewelry http://www.dosmanosjewelry.com --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
