hi,

i installed gentoo and chose grub. 

when i rebooted lilo was still there.

for an experiment i deleted an entire hdd and lilo was
still there. i guess it's hard to delete the mbr..

anyway how does one completely wipeout  a hdd with
linux?

i don't want my old lilo on my hdd.

question: do i have to install lilo again instead of
grub so that the old lilo will be gone?
