First of all, thanks to those who responded to my SuSe 9.1 GNOME problem
yesterday. Surprise of surprises, in order to get some work done, I started
horsing around with KDE, and before I knew it, I got into it. Furthermore, I
like it, and have decided to stick with it rather than returning to GNOME.
I still have no explanation why GNOME hangs when I start it, which should
obviously never happen, but I refuse to deal with it any longer.

Question about the next problem to follow.
