I don't know how to do it, but I know some rudimentary stuff is possible. I went and browsed a web page put up by a photographer for a wedding. the page allowed you to view the pictures in your browser at a resolution of 800x600 or so. the idea was that you would then order prints of the photos you liked. well I wondered what was stopping people from just saving the online version. I ended up having to use a screen capture program to do it! I looked at the source of the web page, hoping to be able to use wget to fetch the picture, but couldn't find the right url. I also tried to get the photo out of my squid cache and my browser's cache to no avail. (it was probably there somewhere, I just couldn't find it.). and of course, I couldn't just right click on the photo and save it. I even tried with all the browsers I could get my hands on with no luck.
