Yeah. It hasn't completely sunk in at this point.

It looks like they're mounting /dev as /.dev and then mounting a tmpfs
partition over /dev. At that point is /.dev coming from the original /dev
or from the mounted tmpfs /dev?

When I'm copying /dev, which do I need? Do I really just need a subset of
stuff to bootstrap udev?

Annoying if the restart was necessary.

I might do that for now. Since this is for older boxen that might be
better than running a new daemon anyway.

That's what I'm doing for my boxen. Then again, we all thought devfs was
the future... :)
