A little bit of trivia here : The name similarities between Java and 
JavaScript are purely a result of marketing, not anything to do with the 
underlying technologies.  Netscape originally called their scripting 
language LiveScript, and changed it to JavaScript after making some deal 
with Sun.  This was back in the day when applets were going to rule the 
web, and they wanted it to sound like one coherent...  Instead its been 
confusing people for about 10 years.
