FC4 hung when I tried to install it on my Dell desktop. I never figured out the cause, I restarted and it went through the second time. I have pretty plain hardware, regular old ide drives, intel cpu and chipset, no USB devices. It was odd for it to give me problems. I had a couple of other issues after the install was finished. I have experimented with a number of distros and never had random problems like it. I haven't tracked all the issues down, but for me it had more stability issues than anything I've messed with lately. --- Miles Beck wrote: > I tried installing Fedora 4 Core on my laptop and it > crashed.
