In Ubuntu, not so > much. I'll keep on looking and I'll be able to answer your question.;-) On my Ubuntu system I have: Applications -> Accessories -> GnomeBaker CD/DVD Creator I don't remember intentionally installing any CD burning stuff, so it might've been installed by default. In GnomeBaker I chose the 'Burn CD Image' button at the top and then selected the ISO I wanted to burn. I don't remember if I set up preferences or it auto-recognized things for me. What configuration I did was totally through the GUI. I think the only knowledge of this setup I had going in was that I had a CD burner and it was likely /dev/hdc or /dev/hdd. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ # Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. # We grow old by deserting our ideals. # Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm # wrinkles the soul. -- Samuel Ullman --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
