Just want to say that I used Xara X for illustrations and really
learned a lot on it.  I am not a trained artist, I am a passionate
amateur.  It's not photoshop.  It's not illustrator.  It's both /
something in between / not quite either.  Art purists may dismiss it
with "Hmpf!" but if you like to draw and learn, it's a great tool.
