We currently use a 450MHz Pentium III with 128MB of RAM as our TWiki server. It is a bit slow (>1 second) rendering a page but it serves well for about 25+ active users. Current uptime 865 days with no issues that can't be blamed on the admin (me) which have all been small anyway. If your IT policies allow it, just grab a box in the corner that is "too old to be useful" and start serving your wiki! (Make sure the wiki data is in the nightly backups!)
