We've got two talks Thursday night.

Nathan will cover Free Software gaming and Scott will lead a review of
SCaLE 7x.

The meeting starts at 19:00 and is hosted by Sequoia charter school. Doors
open at 18:30.

Presenter: Nathan
Summary: Nathan went to a talk on Free Software gaming while at SCaLE 7x.
He will do a presentation based on the talk and his own experiences with
gaming and Free Software.
Bio: Nathan is our gracious host for both the east side and west side
general meetings.

Topic: SCaLE 7x review
Presenter: Scott Ruecker
Summary: SCaLE 7x was Scott's third year there. He will talk about the
differences he has seen from 5x to 7x. He will also talk about many of the
booths he visited and people he talked to etc. Scott will talk about the
WIOS track he attended and let those who were there and everyone else
voice their own take on SCaLE 7x and the LOPSA classes.
Bio: Scott Ruecker has been the Editor-in-Chief for LXer.com Linux News
since June of 2007. He works at a large Financial Firm and plays the
Drum-kit in an alt-rock band. First exposed to FOSS when he heard about
"This Linux Thing" in 2004. Got his start on Fedora Core 1, SuSE and
Kubuntu. He currently uses Debian, PCLinuxOS and his all purpose favorite,
DSL for his really old
machines. He is a drummer of 23 years and a current member of the band
Curium, based out of Phoenix Arizona.
