a new event, Geek Family and Friends Day, is this coming Sunday,
2014Okt05.

It's a family event, so bring everyone out.

The Enchanted Island Pirate's Cove at Encanto Park from 13:00 to 16:00.

If you haven't been to the enchanted island, it's a small amusement park
with a railroad, splash area, carousel, pedal-boats, and a variety of
rides. Most of the rides cost money. All day wrist bands can be purchased
from Enchanted Island. Admission to Enchanted Island is free, so just come
on in.

The event is a potlock. There is a charcoal grill and charcoal will be
available.
