The candidate must be willing to interview and work in Phoenix. We are
looking for Strong Linux and Solaris skills. Although not required, a
preferred candidate would have specific experience with Linux Redhat
Advanced Server 2.5, Sun E10K, F15K, Veritas Volume Manger, Veritas
Cluster Server and AIX 4.3.X on various CPUs (B80, H70).


Functional Job Title: System Administrator
Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Position requires mandatory
evening/night support and/or overtime as needed, including on-call
duties. 
Job Description:
System Administrators (SAs) are responsible for maintaining operational
readiness of web, application, and database servers. The SA functions as
a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the operating system and environment.
The SA is also responsible for process, standards, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills (Required): 

	*	8 years experience in diversified background of applied
technical support including experience in web and Internet technologies 
	*	Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions in a
high pressure environment; ability to apply advanced troubleshooting
techniques 
	*	Strong written and oral communications 
	*	Ability to multitask and work multiple issues
simultaneously 
	*	Strong customer interface skills 
	*	Advanced knowledge of Sun Solaris 2.x and demonstrated
applicable experience 
	*	Strong knowledge and applied experience with LAN/WAN
technology and TCP/IP 
	*	Strong knowledge and applied experience with one or more
of the following: Netscape Enterprise Server, SunOne, Apache Web
Server/IBM HTTP Server


Additional Skills/Experience (Benefit): 

	*	Experience working with a 3-Tier application and network
environment 
	*	Experience working in a development to production
environment 
	*	Experience working with Linux in an enterprise
environment 
	*	Experience with enterprise application and systems
support 
	*	Understanding of applied principles of E-Business 
	*	Applied experience with automation tools and scripting 
	*	Experience with command level (no graphical interface)
operation with one or more of the following: IBM WebSphere Application
Server versions 3.5, 4.0, and 5.0 
	*	Experience with or knowledge of Message Queueing (MQ)
and Java Messaging Service (JMS) 
	*	Experience with or knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager 
	*	Experience with or knowledge of Veritas Cluster Server
(VCS) 
	*	Experience with or knowledge of UDB/DB2 server
