If you really want an inside look at Maricopa county Elections, why not get inside and get paid for it, too?

The County needs poll workers - people who work the polls...her you could get a first-hand, up-close and personal look at the inner workings of the actual voting as it takes place.  And yes, you get paid.

Then, both of the major political parties will want people to work (yes, you get paid by County) to participate in the "Hand count" - this is where they reconcile the vote tally as per the machines again real people (you) hand counting each ballot.....

Both political parties also need volunteers (non-paid) to be observers INSIDE the Ballot Tabulation Center to watch the actual machine-counting of the ballots...this also allows you to go anywhere in that building (with a guide) EXCEPT behind the glass windows to the actual small room where the computers are located.......you can watch the process of handling of early ballots, provisional ballots, etc.....this is non-paying work.

Jim, it seems, is far past this stage of the game, but other interested parties are welcome to email me off line for more details.  I just think that voting is not to be tampered with, and the more you know about the process, the more (or less) confidence you should gain........
