My mouse started to not working unless I popped the battery out and then
put it back. I was told that it probably meant corosion was interfering and
to clean it. I did so and that fixed it for a time and then I had to clean
it again. I got to thinking that perhaps it was the battery. I replaced the
battery a couple of days ago and no problems since. I wonder why.
