A company do web work for from time to time has released a new game that is linux capable:

There are few more I think at the garagegames site that also are linux playable games. I would recommend Dark-Horizons Lore, but that is a mech shoot 'em up so it probably isn't what Dazed would be looking for.

Just my 2 cents. I mostly play WoW and despite it working reasonable under Crossfire Office or whatever thet is, I stick my gaming to a windows machine. Fortunately I am able to just leave that machine dedicated to gaming. Nonetheless I am watching this thread because I would like to find some games for Linux. Battle for Wesnoth is quite good, but I'm not big on the turn based games, I
like the real time better. And all the sorcery and magic turns me off as
well. But the graphics are quite impressive and the game play is very nice.
