The Hackfest is specially scheduled demonstration that includes open cracking exploits and IDS. Quarterly Hackfests are open encroachment/IDS events with designated targets and competition that require registration and agreement to acceptable use, as well as understanding of liability and self protection. Extensive setup and tear down, forensics and IDS are required so these events are limited to make the best experience for all attendees.

June's event will be a full participation Hackfest is scheduled and will occur at ITT in Tempe on Saturday 19th June Noon-til done.  Registration via email lisakachold@obnosis.com

Don't learn to hack; hack to learn. Hack test your installations and source using Linux Security distro tools. Arrangements are happily accepted to coordinate extra credit with local teachers.

There is an open call for Backtrack or Security Distro presentations and participants, especially for IDS and forensics.
