Keith let asume that you use yum to install pure-ftp and you use---and you did not use nothing else to configure pure-ftp than chkconfig,<br><br>-----yum install pure-ftpd<br><br>now after that you create the system startup links<br>
<br>----chkconfig --levels xx pure-ftpd on (xx =whatever level you use)<br>or <br>----chkconfig  pure-ftpd on<br>
then or just reboot OS<br>----/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd start<br><br>now check if is listed<br><code style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><br>----chkconfig --list</code> pure-ftpd<br><br>then you command will be<br>
----/etc/init.d/pure-ftpd stop<br><br><br>now using chkconf you will remove the startup link<br><br>----chkconfig --levels xx pure-ftpd off<code></code><br>or<br>----chkconfig pure-ftpd off<code></code><br><br>now that should do it,<br>
