well, I decided to move my secondary computer  into the living room and just run xmbc as a program (bummer). So I go to a terminal and: <div><div><br></div><div>~$ sudo apt-get install xbmc</div><div>Reading package lists... Done</div>

Done</div><div>E: Unable to locate package xbmc</div><div><br></div><div>so update my apt database but that doesn&#39;t help any. Then I do a little web searching and find that apt-get is the way I should do it. I found the &#39;=Installing_XBMC_for_Linux#Ubuntu_2&#39; page and it implies that xmbc id in the official ubuntu repository so apt should do it. </div>
