Is a celeron a pentimumII ?

Emne: Is a celeron a pentimumII ?
I just bought a new computer with a celeron in it. I'm under the
impression that a celeron is really a PII with a smaller cache. This
would mean that I could use the PII/PPro option when compiling the
kernel.

Anyone know if this is true?
