Stange Kernal Module Load Error

Good morning my logs keep filling up with the following message
modprobe: can't locate module binfmt-0000
I have looked everywhere fro this module.
Does any one know what module it is and what it's for.
THis is a standard RH 6.1 system with the exception of a 16 port digi
xem. it does not appear to be and issue with the digi driver as far as I
can see.
