"Windows" button and KDE 2

After upgrading to Mandrake 7.2 with KDE 2, the otherwise useless
"Windows" button doesn't bring up the "K" menu anymore. I'd like to
restore that binding.

Web searches haven't turned up any useful pointers... could anyone offer a
suggestion where to begin?
