Hanging find process in KDE

I have fired off the find tool from Konqueror and it has "hung" I can move
it's window around the screen and all other open windows and desktops are
working fine (I am typing this email for example). But the find tool window
will not update it's client area or close. How do I force it to close?

ps -a issued as su in a console window does not show the process so I don't
know where to issue a kill.
