a DOH! moment...

I've been having trouble getting my network printer talking... hmmm...
I tried this then I tried that, and tried pinging it... nothing... Then
I noticed that when I pinged xxx.xxx.xxx.047 it tried xxx.xxx.xxx.39,
then I realized that it was intrepreting 047 as an octal 47, converting
it to decimal, and trying to talk to the wrong hardware!

Doh! Yes I can count in decimal, binary, octal and hex...
