help with new OS

As other have pointed out you will probably have a problem with M$ fdisk not recognizing the Linux partition. Go to Linux Gazette www.linuxgazette.org issue 63 and follow the instructions in "Clearing the Master Boot Record (MBR)" on using debug to rewrite the Master Boot Record. Print out the instructions and file them with a Windows 98 Startup disk which has the debug program on it.
