samba stuff

okay...well i've got samba installed and partially working. i can share
directories like /windows, or /home, but i can't share anything that
descends into more than one directory like
/windows/documents/linux_stuff/. i can see it under network
neighborhood but no one has permission to access it. has anyone had a
similar problem???
