Knoppix

I agree with Paul about Knoppix. I ran it on my compaq presario laptop and
was able to hear musical sound out of the speakers for the first time since
I reformatted my hard drive. It was nice to verify that my sound system
still works and it is just a driver thing. I'm considering becoming a
penguin follower with it : ) Anyway, thanks for letting me know about it
