Xmms, Xine, and the like

Since we're on the topic, I did download the plugin for the mp3 files.
Only if there were external players that would read the format, I would
convert over.

I haven't been able to play region 1 DVD's on Xine, only region free
DVD's. I have a Hollywood Plus decoder card that worked with Windows.
I haven't tried the card with Linux. Anybody know if this would work?
