Hard disk exerciser

Thanks for the tip on dbench.

I found the diag cd that came with the laptop (havent seen it in 2 years!)
and booted it. It tested all the components and confirmed what I thought.
Ide0 is toast. Time to go shopping for a new laptop hard disk. (a bigger
one too :> ).
