What happen to Linux?

What is happening to linux?

I was interesting in purchasing SuSE 8.2 or Redhat 9.0 and the flyers that I
got from the companies state they can be purchased at Compusa, Best Buy,
Borders, Circuit City, Fry's Electronics, etc.. In my calling around I
found that Best Buy and Circuit City removed all the linux sections out of
the stores. That is not a good sign. Compusa still carry's them, but I
did not try Fry's Electronics. It kind of made me re-think before
purchasing another new version of any linux distro.
