how to patch this?

Hello,

Using RH 7.1.

I want to install/patch my orinoco drivers as specified here:
http://airsnort.shmoo.com/orinocoinfo.html

I guess the actual code in the patch is here:
http://airsnort.shmoo.com/orinoco-09b-packet-1.diff.

I have no idea what to do with this code? Do I just copy and paste it into
a .c file or what? Would someone walk me through what to do with this?
