USB to PalmPilot

When I was first playing around with linux (at the beginning of the year) One
of you got this item working. I have searced the archive and cannot find the
exchange we had (I suppose the archiver didn't find that conversation worthy
of the archive). In any case this means I need to have the discussion again
if any of you wouldn't mind.
