What's the chipset? I've noticed that many wifi card manufacturers say
they have "linux drivers" but only supply precompiled drivers for Redhat
Version X.xx, or if they do supply source, it is a poor wrapper for
their closed source binary. One chipset that comes to mind is the
RealTek 8180L
