mozilla firebird and verisign

Can mozilla firebird be cofigured to accept verisign certifcates?

On MS IE when https://wellsfargo.site.com is enterned into the browser
IE goes there without a hickup, but with mozilla-firebird everytime
Mozilla asks if it is OK to accept the certificate.
