This is OT but I have seen other postings like it so now it is my turn. I
think that I have fried my motherboard by installing my RAM in backwards. I
did not have it completely in the socket but I think it was enough to cause
damage as I could smell something burn. I am in the middle of senior project
and I need to see if I can get back up and running again as quickly as
possible. My request is does anyone have a motherboard that will support a
1.2 Gig AMD Athlon CPU with 168 pin DIMMS. I don't know if this is enough
info to determine compatability but if anyone has a motherboard that they
want to get rid of that this will fit please email me off list at
crogers@cox.net . I will be going down to Fry's this evening to see what
they have if I don't hear anything before that as I am desperate to get my
