I have a Nforce2 Ultra machine running debian unstable with a 2.6.6 kernel in
which sound works with kde, but with nothing else. Using a process of
elimination I have found that kde is using OSS, but when i try to have xmms
use OSS (or anything else for that matter) it tells me that either the sound
card is not properly configured or I do not have the proper plugin selected or
that something is blocking the sound card.
Any suggestions?
