I'm sure learning alot. My teacher just taught me that I can't ping something without an ip address. So my efforts last night were a fruitless attempt to do something that can't be done. But didn't we configure an ip adddress into it?
He is saying to me now that I can telnet to the ip address we set for it with 'telnet open 20.20.20.20' Ohhh. So that is what he was talking about when he told me that the ip address was to manage it. (I don't remember him saying that but what does that mean)
