Hi,
I have an old computer available running Debian with 2 NICs. I'd
really like to give it to someone who would like to learn about and
experiment with packet filtering firewalls. This is a Cyrix 686
machine in an ugly tower box so it is not much good for anything
else. It will run X windows so a GUI app for firewall setup and
configuration should work. It is running the current Debian stable
with a 2.4 kernel.
It comes with a keyboard, mouse, and a decent monitor so you don't
need anything else but the time and effort needed to learn. Please
contact me and let me know your need and motivations. I think offline
is probably most appropriate but I don't know what would be proper
netiquette.
Thanks,
Eric
