Install the package pepperflashplugin-nonfree.
It might be different now, but in the past the way it got it copy of
flash was to download a full copy of chrome and pull the library out of
it, so you have to download a huge amount of data just to get flash, but
if you really want to run chromium instead of chrome, it's the only way
I know to get flash in chromium.
